Bite-Sized Preservation: Historic Districts 101

We’re bringing you another serving of preservation basics. Join us via Zoom on July 23 for just as much preservation as fits in a lunch hour. Each installment will bring new topics and a variety of tools.

On Thursday, July 23, we’ll present Bite-Sized Preservation: Historic Districts 101 will illuminate the differences between local and national historic districts. It is confusing — we know! Why are districts under local preservation protection and districts on the National Register both called “historic districts”?? We’ve invited colleagues from the city and state to help us iron out the differences. Is your property in one, both, or neither of these historic districts? Come find out.

Join us and learn how to navigate history from your home!

All registrants will receive a Zoom invitation with a meeting code and password before the event. Please contact us with any questions or for assistance with the Zoom app.
