Community Works Rhode Island, Neighborhood Revitalization & Historic Restoration Award, Richardson-Waite House (14 Parkis Avenue), Marsh-Dyer House (43 Parkis Avenue), and George W. Ladd House (55 Parkis Avenue)

Community Works Rhode Island completed the renovation of the three Victorian-era urban mansions at 14 Parkis Avenue, 43 Parkis Avenue and 55 Parkis Avenue in 2010. The renovation of these houses has provided a total of 22 rental units- three efficiency units, thirteen one bedroom units, and six two bedroom units- for income –qualified residents. The total development cost for the three mansions was $5,225,627.

The Parkis Avenue Revitalization project includes a total of eighteen properties that are being developed in four phases. The full redevelopment includes twelve historic multi-family buildings, two carriage houses, one historic reconstruction and three compatible infill multifamily buildings on vacant lots. Community Works Rhode Island is redeveloping the properties into a total of 100 mixed-income rental and homeownership residential units.
