PPS offers heritage travel opportunities designed to build relationships among members and to provide education about the challenges faced and techniques used by preservation advocates in other communities. In addition to sightseeing and exploration of vernacular architecture, we meet with officials, practitioners, and counterparts in other American cities to learn from their experiences and bring new ideas back to Providence. Previous destinations have included Cuba, Detroit, and New Orleans. We hope that you will join us on a future trip!
Our next trip is planned for the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, October 15-17, 2020. More information, including a registration form, is available here, or you may contact Kelsey Mullen.
