Bright Lights, Creative City: Providence’s Arts & Entertainment History Tour

Providence comes by its reputation as the Creative Capital honestly, with an arts and entertainment history that extends back hundreds of years. Today, this legacy is evident around almost every corner downtown, from historic theatres to music venues, community arts incubators, and old world hotels. This tour explores the city‘s early entertainment history and highlights the many ways creatives have reimagined historic spaces and kept the arts at the center of life in Providence.
