At the May 15, 2018, meeting of the City Plan Commission, the outcome was a 5-2 vote against recommending a zoning change.

From there, the issue will be sent to the Council ordinance committee for one or two hearings. That meeting had not been scheduled as of May 21. Three weeks notice is required before the meeting can take place.
